RCD project managed and supervised the scheme offering a full turnkey package. Liaison with the principal contractor and asset management organisations took place throughout the construction, with the route going through private land. In order to maintain the agreed route, directional drilling was required under a temporary redundant railway line. The railway line integrity needed to be maintained as the line was soon to be opened for future Rail Passenger use. The project entailed two points of connection, one for the Dunstable Theatre and a further connection for the other for commercial developments. In conjunction with the construction of the Utilities Project. RCD were required to civil engineer a bus lay-by and turning point for the local Highway Authority.
