TelfordRCD`s project was Design, Installation & Adoption of a major Gas & Water Mains & Services infrastructure, for the new proposed £250m Southwater redevelopment in the heart the existing Telford town centre shopping precinct. GIRS - Gas network consisted of a large MP pressure mains connection on a full Town Centre road which then fed a new installed PRi / Gas Governor to supply the future development of 15 new proposed commercial businesses via some very large mains pipeline.

WIRS - The Water Project also involved a very large mains pipeline installation and complex service connections in a busy existing shopping centre district.

  • Large MP complex NRO connection & new Gas Governor Designed installed & Adopted.
  • Every effort was made for the Design of both Gas & Water Mains to be installed together.
  • Liaison with all Stakeholders and Local Authority was paramount in working in very busy City Centre
  • Large Pri – Gas Governor were Installed along with 2500m of new Gas and Water mains pipeline pipe sizes ranging from 250mm downwards .
  • Special care and planning needed to keep all existing Retail and Commercial during Units operational through design and installation.
